Nippon Paint Walltron Bitucoat is a water based, cold applied, black color emulsified protective coating. This is a ready to use bituminous liquid coating. It forms a black flexible water protective film upon drying. It is a highly thixotropic emulsion which can be easily applied to any thickness by roller or brush.

Firstly, when applied, Walltron Bitucoat forms a flexible waterproof protective film. Next, this film provides excellent water resistance, ensuring the surface remains protected against water damage. Moreover, the coating adheres firmly to various surfaces, including concrete, brick, and both horizontal and vertical areas. Then, as it is a water-based product, it allows for easy cleaning of tools and brushes with water. Finally, being non-toxic and environmentally friendly, it is safe for both indoor and outdoor use, making it a versatile choice for various water prevention needs.

Direction Of Use
Surface Preparation
Prepare the surface thoroughly by cleaning, washing, and removing dust, dirt, oil, grease and loose particles using wire brush and water jet. Break the weak portion of concrete surface near the area of repair and clean with water jet. The application temperature should be between 5° C to 55° C
Crack Filling
Cracks of size up to 5mm should be filled by Walltron Nseal Crack Fill Paste. Cracks wider than 5 mm should be filled by applying Walltron Enhancer or Walltron Wall+ modified mortar slurry using blade properly. Let it dry for 24 hrs.
Application
- Stir the product well before use.
- Apply a layer of coats with a brush or roller and let it dry for 8-10 hrs.
- After that apply the second coat at right angles using brush or roller and allow it to dry for 24 hrs.
- Sprinkle sand at 200 gm/m³ over the final coating when the surface is still tacky to facilitate plastering or further construction.
- Allow final curing time of 36 hrs.
- before carrying out any further work Conduct ponding test after 7 days of curing at ambient temperature.
Shelf Life & Storage
Best before 12 months from the date of manufacturing when in sealed pack and stored under proper condition.
